I am a qualified, innovative Youth & Community Development Officer with a YMCA Foundation Level 3 Diploma in Youth Informal Education. I have 10 years experience in developing and initiating specific projects with the objective https://chiefessays.net/ of bringing change to young people’s lives. As an excellent communicator, both when addressing groups of people or on a one-to-one basis, I am both pro-active and self motivated and have the ability to prioritise a demanding and dynamic workload.
I previously worked as a Community Development Officer at Babergh District Council in South Suffolk where I worked for 10 years on young peoples projects. I initiated, developed and co-ordinated a work programme in close liaison with all partners to meet the Council’s priorities relating to youth and community development.
I developed and managed projects and played a leading role in the delivery of the youth element of the Council’s strategic plan and managed a budget for youth and arts services – where possible attracting external grant funding for youth projects. Much of my work was carried out in partnership both internally and with external groups, organisations and individuals. My role required a significant college paper writer amount of external contact with schools, outside agencies, young people and community groups as well as extensive contact with the local media.
I am extremely innovative and have created and led on all my projects. Young people need new and interesting things to take part in and it is important to be creative so I have developed programmes around cultural activities such as drama, film, music and photography.
